BUSHWACKER
WINS National Championship

Representing Sodus Bay Yacht Club, Erik Will's BUSHWACKER won the 2004 SOVEREL 33 NATIONAL ONE DESIGN REGATTA in Westbrook, CT on August 6th, 7th, 8th, 2004. Erik's CREW included longtime SBYC sailors Jerry ("The Hammer") Matterson, Albert Mountcastle, Ed St. George, Henry Willard, Van Huston, Charlie Catchpole, Rick Marcellus, and Joel Roemer. The three-day, twelve race regatta attracted nine boats from up and down the Eastern seaboard, including two from SBYC. Jerry & Betsy Dodge's YANKEE also raced in the event. Having also won the class in 1999 and 2001, this is Will's third Soverel 33 National Regatta Championship win.
