CHUCK WILLETTE'S FAIR HAVEN MINI-CRUISE PICTURES!
The weekend AFTER the annual SBYC Fair Haven (fun) Race, a bunch of cruisers got together extemporaneously to run down and bother those poor folks at Fair Haven YC yet again. Your humble correspondent arrived (late as usual) to top off a table of THIRTY SBYC members and guests dining at the Pleasant Beach Hotel. Wow! Past Commodore and all-round swell guy (Rosie said to say that) Chuck Willette kindly passed a long a few photos of his kazoo-friendly afternoon at FHYC.

CHUCK WILLETTE'S SBYC CRUISE PICTURES!
The 2007 SBYC CLUB CRUISE sailed across the lake and along the north shore from June 30th thru July 10th. SBYC's cruising members had a great time together, and were treated with exceptional hospitality at stops in Waupoose, and the Bay of Quinte Yacht Club, among others. KASS VANDE PLAYING AIR GUITAR!
A big turnout made for a hot party at the "SBYC Winter Carnival", Saturday, February 19th. If you missed the ice-boat, check out the pictures! Michael Shults took most of the pictures shown in the "album". His Eminence, Commodore Robert White the 1st, benignly condescended to share a half dozen photos I stuck in the same album, including the picture of KASS VANDE PLAYING AIR GUITAR, while her lovely daughter tries to cover Kass' granddaughter's eyes so she doesn't see Grandma boogie!

SETTING UP THE NEW BOOTH
A-V whiz Marc Hamilton graciously provided us with a beautiful new backdrop, a bright clear monitor, really nice upholstered chairs, and a lot of time, sweat and effort to make our SBYC BOAT SHOW presentation compelling. Don & Jane Solan once again contributed huge blocks of time, effort, and genius in the form of Don's rampant artistry in producing booth props and marketing materials such as annotated pictures, a superb power point presentation, and an impressive SBYC burgee on a flag pole so people could see our colors across the convention center! If you missed seeing our "2005 edition" SBYC booth at the boat shows, check out the pictures!

NEW HALLOWEEN PARTY PICTURES UNEARTHED!
Hank Stuart and his lovely wife Mary, my guests at the Halloween Party from RYC, were kind enough to share his pictures of the Halloween Party and Racing Awards Banquet. Due to technical difficulties with the service Hank uses to "album" his photos, we weren't able to post them on the site, and I thought it might never happen. But good ol'Hank is never one to drop the ball, and a CD ROM recently found it's way into P.O. Box 1! SO, here they are! Feast your eyes, but put the kids to bed first, and be careful, it's scary stuff!

PICTURES of Labor Day "BUCCANEER WEEKEND" 2004
SBYC and RYC enjoyed a swashbuckling fabulous "Buccaneer Weekend" of family oriented events including a feeder race, steak dinner, dancing to a live band, a costume contest, treasure hunt, a farcical "Buccaneer Rally" race (which was mostly a pretense for naval water-balloon battling!), a Disney-quality "Pirate Invasion" featuring cannon fire, pillage, plunder, plank-walking, grog-swilling, and swordplay, a final, theraputic pancake breakfast, and much more. SAIL PASS PICTURES
The rain held off for this year's Commodore's Review of the Fleet, held on Memorial Day, May 31st. Sailing past were 31 SBYC boats proffering pomp, circumstances, and salutations to our esteemed Commodore. Not bad in a year where a goodly percentage of the fleet was smushed in building collapses during the winter! Pictures proffered by shutterbugs Don and Jane Solan.
