We will host our 40th Challenge Cup Regatta. In addition to great racing, registrants will enjoy: live entertainment, and delicious meals available throughout the weekend. We will also have Match Play Ink on-site for event merchandise.
Planning to attend? Register your boat for the race, reserve dinner tickets for you and non-racing folks, and see who else is planning to be on the water. A limited amount of dinners will be available during the event.

Match Play Ink
Want some Challenge Cup swag to wear? Match Play Ink will be on site during the regatta for merchandise sales. They will have Challenge Cup 2024 items with the newly designed 2024 logo as well as custom apparel.
Accomodations
Come in on Friday and stay through Sunday. We have ample parking for crew and friends and family. You and your crew can stay on your boat rafted in our deep harbor or stay in a tent on our lawn. Local lodging is also availabl: http://www.greatsodusbay.org/lodging.html
Entertainment
Saturday night we will host the band Midnight Storm! The band plays a wide variety of Classic Rock in the Finger Lakes and Greater Rochester area. So get ready to dance the night away under the stars of Sodus Bay Yacht Club and enjoy the live music.

Friday Night Club Bar/Dining
Join us Friday night at the Club and have drinks at the bar and dinner in the dining room.
Reservations for dinner recommended.
Saturday Regatta Dinner
After racing on Saturday, join us on shore for a delicious chicken BBQ .dinner.
Please register for this meal soon. A limited number of dinners will be available during the event.
Sunday SBJSA Breakfast
Start your Sunday with fellow sailors next door at Sodus Bay Junior Sailing Association. They are hosting a Pancake breakfast!
Come support them and fill up before the last races of the weekend! All donations go to SBJSA. No pre-order necessary for this breakfast.
Sunday Picnic Lunch
After racing on Sunday, we will host a hamburger and hotdog picnic. The cost will be $12 per person.

Regatta Overview
SBYC is again hosting this annual regatta that is one of many quality regattas around Lake Ontario that act as a qualifying Tier 2 counter event for the LYRA Boat of The Year. This regatta will help you on a great campaign towards this coveted trophy. LYRA TIER 2 Counter Event
The expectation is to race 7 races on Lake Ontario, but it is not out of the realm of possibilities to have a few or all in the bay depending on the weather. Racing will be on Saturday and Sunday and will culminate with an awards presentation Sunday afternoon on the west lawn next to the portico.
