Challenge Cup

Sodus Bay Yacht Club hosted the 2021 Challenge Cup Regatta. It was a weekend of strong southerly winds and fairly flat water. The regatta included 19 boats in four divisions with visiting sailors from Brockport Yacht Club, Genesee Yacht Club, Newport Yacht Club, Rochester Yacht Club, Sodus Bay Yacht Club, and Oswego Yacht Club. All in attendance got a lot of sun, enjoyed great music by the EarthTones, and enjoyed great food. Thank you SBJSA for hosting the annual pancake breakfast before the start of the second day of racing. We would also like to thank Larry Sill, who served as PRO for this event. In the end, SBYC won the Challenge Cup!
